Importance of Service:
Engine and transmission mounts are designed to hold the engine in place and control the movement and vibration of the engine and transmission. Most mounts contain rubber components to allow for some small movement and allowable vibration.

What May Happen if The Service is Not Performed:
Engine mounts that are broken can cause the engine to be unstable in the location of the mount as they hold the engine and transmission in place.

Your engine or transmission may move too much and cause lurching or clunking of these parts. A loose engine or transmission can also cause damage to other components, cause excessive vibration felt in the dashboard or steering wheel, and vibration noise.
